Manitoba Optimist Junior Open 2011 - Tournament Prize Policy

Please Read carefully as how the prizes are being awarded and distributed.
The following prizes are awarded by Manitoba Optimist Junior Golf
Long Ball Competition (All junior competitors)
Top 3 Junior Boys and Top 3 Junior Girls will be awarded monetary gifts.
Putting Competition (All junior competitors)
Top 3 Junior Boys and Top 3 Junior Girls will be awarded monetary gifts.
Age Group 13 years and Under (boys); 12 years and under (girls)
The winning boy and girl shall each be awarded a golf equipment certificate.
The 2nd place boy and girl shall each be awarded a golf equipment certificate.
The 3rd place boy and girl shall each be awarded a golf equipment certificate.
Age Group 14 and 15 years (boys); 13 and 14 years (girls)
The winning boy and girl shall each be awarded a golf equipment certificate.
The 2nd place boy and girl shall each be awarded a golf equipment certificate.
The 3rd place boy and girl shall each be awarded a golf equipment certificate.
Age Group 16 to 18 years (boys); 15 to 18 (girls)
The winning boy and girl shall each be awarded a trip to the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship Tournament(OIJGC) held in Florida, July 26th thru July 31ST, 2011 and will not celebrate their 19th birthday on or before July 31st, 2011.
Eighteen-year-old golfers may only participate in both the District Qualifying Tournament and the OIJGC if they are currently in high school or a 2011 high school graduate. You will not be able to compete if you have participated in any college or university golf tournament prior to this year's OIJGC.
The trip includes airfare, registration and accommodations. If the trip is not accepted a golf equipment certificate shall be awarded. Winners must meet the minimum criteria as set by Optimist International Junior Golf before the trip can be awarded.

Passports are required to enter the USA.
The 2nd Place boy and girl shall be awarded a golf equipment certificate.
The 3rd place boy and girl shall be awarded a golf equipment certificate.
Additional Important Policies
1. The Florida trips must be accepted before June 27th, 2011.
2. The decision to award the trip to any other golfers will be left solely to the discretion of the Manitoba Optimist Junior Golf Board.
3. If a player is awarded the trip, it shall be understood that they would relinquish any previous prize replacement.
4. Age as of June 18th, 2011 determines age category in all groups.
The following prizes are awarded by the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA).
Qualifiers are awarded as follows:
(All decisions on CJGA qualifiers will be made solely by the Canadian Junior Golf Association.)
Top 3 in each age category (boys & girls) will receive automatic invitations to the following CJGA National Championships:
CJGA PING Canadian Junior Match Play Championship
July 25-28, 2011
St. Andrews Valley Golf Club, Aurora, Ontario
CJGA Mizuno National Golf Championship
August 8-11, 2011
Grey Silo Golf Club, Waterloo, Ontario
Winners (only) in the following categories Boys 14-15, Boys 16-18, Girls 10-18 will receive invitations
to the following CJGA national championship:
Nike Golf Junior Championship
Smugglers Glen Golf Course, Lansdowne, Ontario
All competitors will be given the opportunity to qualify for the Stephen Ames Cup regardless of placement in the tournament.
